                               (No USGA Handicap Required)

Five Bracket Winners will win a trip to Scotland to play for Team USA!

Your “Final GROSS Score” is what counts!

Welcome to The Team USA vs Team Scotland Amateur Golf Championships.
We use Peoria Scoring-GROSS-Stroke Play Scoring.

1/What is GROSS-STROKE PLAY Scoring? Players record an individual score for each hole and are Totaled.

2/What is Peoria Scoring?
Peoria Scoring helps keep the game fair and honest.
We select 6 Holes to Score Per Round out of the 18 Holes Played.
Golfers are not told what the 6 holes are!
2 Par 3's, 2 Par 4's and 2 Par 5's.
We Tally those 6 Holes for your GROSS Score.
Or, if it's our National Championships; we tally RD 1 6 Holes and RD 2 6 Holes for
12 Holes Scored/GROSS.

3/Registration:
Each golfer who registers to play is eligible to win one of Five Playing Spots on Team USA.

Those Five Players will win a dream golf trip of a lifetime to St. Andrews, Scotland.
In Scotland they will play some of the very best links courses in the world.
Team USA will compete against the five man Team Scotland in two competition rounds.

4/In a Blind Draw, golfers who have Registered are put into a Foursome with other Registered Golfers.

5/Tee Box Assignments:
All registered golfers play from the same Tee Box assigned by Team USA Officials.

However, Registered golfers who are 55-65 will move forward one Tee Box. Registered golfers who are 65+ will move forward two Tee Box's.

6/Scoring and Determining the Five Brackets.

All Registered Golfers final scores will be Totaled as Stroke Play-GROSS Total.

Five Brackets will be established based upon the GROSS TOTAL of the LOWEST SCORE
Posted.

Example:
After two rounds of Championship Play, Peoria Scoring-12 Holes are Scored.
The Lowest Score Shot is “50”.
The Five Brackets are then determined with “50” as the baseline.

7/How are the Five Gross Score Brackets determined?

The Five Brackets would be determined by the Lowest Score to Highest Score of all golfers playing that day.
Example, if the “Lowest Score” of all 12 Holes that are Scored is 50; the Brackets would be:

Old Tom Morris Bracket: (50-55)

GROSS Scores of 55 and Below.
The Winner of the Old Tom Morris Bracket
would be the player who has the lowest GROSS Score of 55 or Below.

Tom Watson Bracket: (56-60)
